Why Application Automation Should Be Part of IT Infrastructure

Implementing an ERP system or vertical application is a complex, expensive undertaking. Initial software purchase prices are high, with implementation costs often running two to three times the purchase price. An innovative application automation and job scheduling tool that is brought in at the beginning of a project and used as part of the infrastructure can significantly reduce implementation costs, and thereby reduce total project costs. A key source of the implementation cost is building business processes. Surprisingly, many packaged applications still rely on extensive manual effort to complete a business process.
